The Art Installation
Within the Womb
The installation "Within the Womb" captures the transformative stage of pregnancy when the unborn child becomes real in a deeply physical and emotional way. It marks the moment a mother begins to feel her baby move—those first kicks and shifts that breathe life into the growing form within her. The belly, no longer just an external change, transforms into a sacred vessel, a temporary home sheltering a new soul as it prepares to meet the world. Encased in a transparent plastic hemisphere, a fully-formed embryo is painted, offering two perspectives: from the outside and from within.
Through this piece, I explore not only the physical journey of motherhood but also its profound emotional impact—a moment when the abstract concept of “new life” becomes unmistakably real, deeply felt and cherished.

Positioned at an accessible height, the hemisphere can be cradled or held against one’s body, evoking the experience of pregnancy.

This artwork is the part of my big project "Fragile Beginnings". All project here
