"Fragile Beginnings" is a deeply personal art project born from my own journey through a late and complicated pregnancy and the first months of motherhood. It was also shaped by countless conversations with other women: stories of longing, loss, love, and silent struggle. Women go through an extraordinary range of conflicting emotions and physical transformations to create life. The contrasting materials emphasize the duality of strength and vulnerability inherent in the process of birth. At its core, this project is a reminder of the inestimable value of human life.

It calls for recognition, compassion, and collective responsibility, especially in a world overwhelmed by noise, conflict, and disconnection. Amidst political chaos and violence, Fragile Beginnings speaks gently but powerfully about the sanctity of life, the quiet heroism of mothers, and the deep human need to be seen and understood.
