THE artwork
Game on
This art installation called “Game On”. Here I reflect on the sobering statistic from the World Health Organization that 1 in 6 people globally affected by infertile. The artwork speaks to the unsettling reality that no one truly knows if they can have children until they try. At the center of the piece is a large wooden cube, with monotype-printed ultrasound images on each side—some show embryos growing in the womb, while one side is empty, symbolizing infertility.
Scattered around are six smaller dice, each with one blackened side, representing the 1-in-6 chance of infertility. The dice can be thrown, letting the viewer experience the randomness and uncertainty of fertility firsthand.

This artwork is the part of my big project "Fragile Beginnings". All project here
