The artwork “Woven Connections” reflects the profound transformation of a mother’s body and mind after childbirth. At its center is a belly print, marked by a cut and metallic staples, symbolizing the physical toll of a cesarean birth. The belly is stitched with red thread onto a background resembling a woven fabric—a tapestry of emotions and neural connections.

This work captures the interplay of physical exhaustion and the psychological reshaping as the mother rebuilds her identity, placing her child at the heart of her new, intricate world.
